Waiver of Deductible: Some policies exclude certain types of procedures form the deductible.
Walking Bleach: Temporarily sealing a bleaching agent in a tooth after a root canal to lighten it.
Wax Bite: A procedure to measure how well your teeth come together. You bite a sheet of wax and leave a bite mark in the wax. The dentist looks at the bite marks to see how well your teeth are aligned. See Interocclusal registration.
Wisdom Tooth: The third molar, this is the eighth tooth from the center of mouth to the back of the mouth. Wisdom teeth are often impacted (obstructed from erupting) and have to be extracted.
