CAN A TOOTH BE PUT BACK IN THE MOUTH AFTER BEING KNOCKED OUT?:

Today a young man came in and he actually brought in half of his tooth in a glass of milk. I bonded the segment back on his tooth as a temporary measure. If a tooth is totally knocked out of your mouth, place it in milk as soon as possible and see a Dentist within an hour or two and we can place it back into the socket. Root canal therapy will be necessary and there is a fairly high probability that the tooth will not last for a lifetime. If you can get 5, 10 or 20 years use, it sure beats having a dental implant or fixed bridge placed at the time of the accident. All dental emergencies should be seen very quickly after the incident occurs.

Prehn Dental Office at the 2010 Business Expo!

May 06, 2010 @ 11:32 AM — by Kathy, Clinical Manager

The Prehn Dental Girls again participated in the Wausau Chamber Business Expo that was held at Marathon Park Wausau, WI.  It was great talking and meeting with all who stopped by to see us. Once again, we had our booth to represent our waiting room and office which is cozy and inviting.  Coming to Prehn Dental is like being at home.    Surprisingly, the most common question of the day was, “Where are you located?”  Downtown, next to the Grand Theater of course! Outstanding Care with Exceptional Results!!!
