Cosmetic Veneers Change a Person's Personality

Even with the downturn in the economy, some patients are pursuing cosmetic veneers to maximize their aesthetics.  I recently placed four veneers on a graduating high school senior who had some severe spacing.  What a great gift this was from his parents—to send their child off into the world with an attractive smile!  It totally changed the personality of this patient.  The patient was somewhat shy and reclusive but after placing the veneers the confidence and ability to smile without hesitation, was extreme.  I am so glad that we have this option available for patients that need it.  Veneers are a two appointment procedure.  At the first appointment we prepare the disfigured (or spaced tooth) with a light preparation.  After fabrication of a porcelain veneer; which is done in a lab, it is cemented on to make the existing tooth incredibly strong and aesthetically perfect.  It is just one of the many options that we have for patients to increase their dental health.  Impressive results!  Check our Smile Gallery for pre and post pictures to see what we have been able to accomplish on Prehn Dental patients.
