Time to Change

Many of our patients use the sonicare toothbrush and love it.  The question that comes up the most is "When do I replace the head?" .  The ideal time is every 3-6 months.  The magnet inside the head starts to wear down after that time period.  The brush loses effectiveness because it does not have the same power anymore.  Don't go by the appearance of the brush head - the bristles do not wear like that of a regular brush.  Just put a reminder on your calendar to change the head and we will also always ask you about replacements when you come in for your cleaning appointments.
